E39 2001 E39 - Dashboard Indicator not working. On the way home tonight I noticed that the indictor lamps on the dashboard were not working. Could not hear the relay either. Parked up and pressed the hazard lights and the lamps and relay were working. Tried the indicators with engine off and they worked again.

I believe that it stopped working after I drove the car on a fast and winding country road drive, which may have knocked the level sensor possibly.
